You’ll need the equipment necessary to support video conferencing. Most laptops and handheld devices contain everything you need, however, please check you have the following:
A computer or laptop or iPad/tablet
Adequate stable broadband/wi-fi connection
A web cam, microphone and speaker
Setting up your coaching space
It’s best to book your coaching sessions at times when you can ensure you won’t experience distractions or disruptions. We recommend giving yourself some time after your session to integrate your learnings and maybe have a snack and drink.
Consider your privacy during sessions so you can feel safe to explore deeper topics without being overheard.
Most people like to be at home during their sessions to ensure their comfort and privacy. Wherever you wish to be, we recommend having some notepads and pens handy for jotting down thoughts and notes.
Prime your inner world
Always set an intention for your coaching session so your mind has instruction and direction. Whether it’s an intention to work through a particular problem or emotion, or simply relaxing and gaining the most from your coaching, set an intention that feels the most right for you.
We recommend a light snack before your session and having plenty of water handy. Bathroom breaks are totally OK so please let your coach know if you need to take a quick break.
You may experience some heat flushes during your session if you experience an emotional shift. It is totally normal and you may even notice a slight colour shift in your skin. Each of these is a sign that you’re doing a great job in your coaching session 😊
